Hey Ears Try This Out

I present music from 1965 (some digressions) to the current time including Rock, Progressive, Psychedelic, Folk, Hard Rock, Country Rock and anything else I feel like playing. All categories decided by me. It will include short descriptions between tracks addressing artist, song title, album, origin and year. I promise you will hear artists that you’ve NEVER heard before. Do you have to know/recognize the music to enjoy it? GOD, I hope not. I will challenge you, but with the best of intentions. Each show is about 1 hour in length (rare digressions). You can expect/hope for ~ 3 to 4 new shows/week. [Est. Sept. 2023]

Hot Mess Express

Wednesday Dec 27, 2023

Wednesday Dec 27, 2023

Another "mess" with multiple styles and eras. If you know all these artists, you have the same expensive-baffling-why me affliction. Seek psychiatric care ASAP. My hope is to produce music-listening clones that follow their Ears (and hearts), with my guidance and tutelage. Listen at home or on the road. That way I won't need to throw you in a pit in my basement and force you to listen.

Country Rock

An era and sound that needs to be represented. Generally the era is from 1968 until 1978. Represented by: The New Riders of the Purple Sage, Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen, The Byrds, Poco, Firefall and on.               Drug references? Yeah a few.

Strawberry Hill Boys

Monday Nov 27, 2023

The Strawberry Hill Boys became Strawbs. This is one of my favorite UK progressive bands of the 70's. It was led by the one of the wonderful unique voices of that era, Dave Cousins. He was always with a great band. This focuses on their releases from 1972 to 1978.
