If you haven't heard of Roy Harper, you need to listen to this. The second track by Comus is kinda 'in your face'. 'Song For Comus' is a unique track though with flute, violin/fiddle, acoustic guitar and vocal effects. That song grew on me and it's a great example of Acid Folk.

There is not as big of a pool to select from vs. UK and Italy. Progressive Rock was not as big (and/or got a later start) as Europe. The featured bands are Kansas, Cathedral, Frank Zappa (yes!), Alice Cooper (yes again!) and Utopia.

A sampling of Kansas from their start in 1974 to present. This set of songs is a selection of one song from 10 different album releases. Celebrate Kansas as they approach 50 years since their self-titled release. They are still rocking it out to this day.

Not for those of you that hate Progressive music. Longer tracks. This features the UK with King Crimson, Genesis, England and Strawbs. The lone Australian band is Sebastian Hardie. These selections are all from 1969 to 1977.
