Hey Ears Try This Out
This is an AUDIO Podcast with an image to represent the content. Each show is one track and 1 hour in length. I present music from ~ 1965 to current time including Rock, Progressive, Psychedelic, Folk, Hard Rock, Country Rock and anything else I feel like playing. All categories are decided by committee (me). It will include short descriptions between tracks addressing artist, song title, album, origin and year. I promise you will hear artists that you’ve NEVER heard before. Do you have to know/recognize the music to enjoy it? GOD, I hope not. I will challenge you with the best of intentions. You can expect/hope for ~ 2 to 3 new shows/week. [Est. Oct. 2023]

Or "The Allman Brothers Band Show". Southern Rock would NOT be what it was or what it became without their contribution. Led by the brothers Duane (guitar) and Gregg (keyboards and vocals), they created the category. You could argue that Southern Rock is an amalgam of Country Rock, Blues Rock, Boogie Rock, Jam Rock, etc. It is all of that, but it still stands on it's own and exists to this day. This show is not all Allman Brothers. The usual culprits are represented.

Wimp-less tracks and no relaxing or sleeping on this one. When you listen to "Roadhouse Blues" by The Doors, listen to Jim Morrison say "Do it, Robby, Do It". I had so many tunes for this show...I made two. Cheers Ears!

The Psychedelic Era is primarily from 1966 to 1969. There were some remnants that made it into the early 70's. This will cover Psychedelic/Garage, British Psychedelia and Psychedelic Pop. As always, there will be many you recognize and there will be others you have never heard of.

Another "mess" with multiple styles and eras. If you know all these artists, you have the same expensive-baffling-why me affliction. Seek psychiatric care ASAP. My hope is to produce music-listening clones that follow their Ears (and hearts), with my guidance and tutelage. Listen at home or on the road. That way I won't need to throw you in a pit in my basement and force you to listen.

Formed in Oklahoma City in 1983, it's The Flaming Lips. They have always been a free spirit. Led by singer Wayne Coyne, The Lips have always had a consistent whacked sound that makes this a unique listen. This has selections from releases between 1987 and 2020.
