Country Rock

This is a great chance to hear Country Rock selections with a wide variety of artists. The Chicago connection between Wilco and Son Volt are represented here. I believe the song by Slobberbone, "Gimme Back My Dog", you'll either love or hate.

Baroque Pop

Please note the show image is Bach with an electric guitar strapped to his shoulder. Please remember this quote, "if it's not baroque, don't fix it". The real 'heyday' for Baroque Pop was 1966-1969. Artists were experimenting with orchestral instrumentation such as strings, horns, etc. The other instrumentation used for these recordings includes harpsichord, pump organ & Mellotron. These instruments were added to a basic rock/pop sound. You'll hear a certain theme to this set of songs, some whimsy but all pretty friendly to the EARS.
