Hey Ears Try This Out
I present music from 1965 (some digressions) to the current time including Rock, Progressive, Psychedelic, Folk, Hard Rock, Country Rock and anything else I feel like playing from my personal collection. All categories decided by me. It will include short descriptions between tracks addressing artist, song title, album, origin and year. I promise you will hear artists that you’ve NEVER heard before. Do you have to know/recognize the music to enjoy it? GOD, I hope not. I will challenge you, but with the best of intentions. I will NOT play anything I wouldn’t listen to. Trust me EARS. Each show is about 1 hour in length (rare digressions).

Sounds like a drink, doesn't it? Well, it's The White Stripes and Jack White in a split show. Hear the evolution of Jack White through this 20 year span and celebrate Meg White's contribution in The White Stripes. She not only provided Jack his last name but also gave a great backbone for his vocals and guitar on White Stripes.

Jose picked these tunes from A to Z. He missed a few letters, but he has 19 great tracks to commemorate this achievement. Treat this as good or bad news: "I ain't done yet, I've only scratched the surface". I have CDs and LPs SCREAMING for attention.

This show introduces (I don't believe many listeners know this band) a wonderful band from England, Barclay James Harvest. The group was formed in September of 1966 in Oldham, Lancashire. A quartet of solid rock musicians -John Lees guitar, vocals; Les Holroyd, bass, vocals; Stuart "Wooly" Wolstenholme, keyboards, vocals; and Mel Pritchard, drums --with a knack for writing hook-laden songs built on pretty melodies. They followed a similar path to The Moody Blues without the hits. You don't need hits to be a great band.

A great live representation of a band that could perform their wonderful repertoire live. This looks at "Caught Live + Five", "Live at the Isle of Wight" and "Red Rocks Live with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra". This show completes the Moody Blues trilogy.

This continues the story of The Moody Blues with the last 2 releases from the 7 from 1967 to1972. The Moody Blues reconvened in 1981 until 1988. There were 4 releases during this time. They actually had a resurgence on MTV with a video in the 80's. There will be one more show of The Moody Blues Live to follow.

Yes, it's Modest Mouse. A very unique band that started in 1992 when Isaac Brock was only 18. Their first release was in 1994. Their first major release was in 1996. They are known for long album titles and quirky song titles. Their sound is so unique, once you get to know some of their songs, you'll know it's Modest Mouse when you hear others. Sit down and absorb these great tunes. AND, Oh yeah, I didn't play their big 'hit'.
