Hey Ears Try This Out
I present music from 1965 (some digressions) to the current time including Rock, Progressive, Psychedelic, Folk, Hard Rock, Country Rock and anything else I feel like playing. All categories decided by me. It will include short descriptions between tracks addressing artist, song title, album, origin and year. I promise you will hear artists that you’ve NEVER heard before. Do you have to know/recognize the music to enjoy it? GOD, I hope not. I will challenge you, but with the best of intentions. Each show is about 1 hour in length (rare digressions). You can expect/hope for ~ 3 to 4 new shows/week. [Est. Aug. 2023]

You must eat your soup. Let's go back to basics: G, H, I and J means the artist's name starts with that letter. An example would be: if it's a solo artist it DOESN'T go by their first name, it goes by their last. All the Bob's and Steve's, etc. go by their last name. It just makes more sense and is easier to find. More soup? = more listens

Jose's got another Mess to listen to. It's all 'over the board'. If you know more than 3 of these artists you are doing very well. When have you heard that before? Chris, thanks for the acronym! Thanks again Jose

This is a category that is really a 'dustbin'. It is 'Alternative' because of the time frame. If these songs had been released in the 70's, it would have been 'Country Rock'. There are many comparisons to 'Americana' as well. But enough about that, these are just some great tunes with many unknown artists. It starts around early to mid 90's.

This continues the highlights of the first 99 shows. I couldn't fit them on one show, so here we go. Thanks to all the listeners. If you didn't listen, this effort would be long gone. [NOTE: I screwed up. I introduced 'She's a Rainbow' but played 'Ruby Tuesday'. Please forgive me]

This celebrates my 100th podcast. I take highlights from the last 99 shows. Many of the selections include input via comments from my listeners. The other tunes are just ones I wanted to play again. That means I broke my rule of only playing any song once...deal with it. That means I also had to re-rip these tunes since I delete them once played. Now they'll be deleted a second time. One more show of this type, next.

This is the fourth installment of this wonderful category. As always, there will be some you know and many you won't. The consistent thread is they all fit seamlessly together. If you like the style, you'll like the result. This is show #99!

Whimsical fodder with a bend towards the late 60's/early 70's. Revisit that time frame with a few newer songs. John Martyn, Dr Strangley Strange, Donovan, Richard Thompson, Dando Shaft, etc.
