Hey Ears Try This Out
I present music from 1965 (some digressions) to the current time including Rock, Progressive, Psychedelic, Folk, Hard Rock, Country Rock and anything else I feel like playing from my personal collection. All categories decided by me. It will include short descriptions between tracks addressing artist, song title, album, origin and year. I promise you will hear artists that you’ve NEVER heard before. Do you have to know/recognize the music to enjoy it? GOD, I hope not. I will challenge you, but with the best of intentions. I will NOT play anything I wouldn’t listen to. Trust me EARS. Each show is about 1 hour in length (rare digressions).

This is more of those tunes "locked in the vault'. The only way to unlock them is to play them. It's a wide ranging affair with releases from 1967 to 2021.

Let us celebrate our neighbors to the north. Canada has a vibrant and productive music scene. The releases range from 1970 to 2022. If you know more than 3 of these artists, you are doing quite well. Canadians don't count.

More? Ahhh, yeah. More from 1966 to 1971. There are many tunes that are pre- "something later", like pre-ELO, Jefferson Airplane and Spooky Tooth.

You must eat your soup. Let's go back to basics: G, H, I and J means the artist's name starts with that letter. An example would be: if it's a solo artist it DOESN'T go by their first name, it goes by their last. All the Bob's and Steve's, etc. go by their last name. It just makes more sense and is easier to find. More soup? = more listens

This is a category that is really a 'dustbin'. It is 'Alternative' because of the time frame. If these songs had been released in the 70's, it would have been 'Country Rock'. There are many comparisons to 'Americana' as well. But enough about that, these are just some great tunes with many unknown artists. It starts around early to mid 90's.
