Hey Ears Try This Out

This is more music to relax by. There are no sudden loud guitar solos, no drum solos and no angry voices.

Listen to this treat of Hard Rock tunes from 1968 to (?) and from around the globe.

This is another dig into the world of Baroque Pop. My definition is really by ear. I listen for a pop background that includes orchestral type instrumentation, such as strings and/or horns. Other examples would be instruments such as a harpsichord or Mellotron. The artists are 90% from the UK. I blame Chris Powell for making me focus. But I like it.

Who did who's song? Whodunit? Sometimes these second-hand versions are the reason we start appreciating certain songs that we previously dismissed. Covers come with their own share of creative intelligence as they require one’s own interpretation of the song or they perform the song as it is almost indistinguishable from the original.

All of these artists are from the British Isles!

This continues the storytelling of songs. This celebrates a great group of artists that created a story with the lyrics and song.

The great tunes are just spilling out of the vault. How do you take advantage? Two ears, one each side of the head, listen.

Who gets to call all of this folk? Uh, me. This is a lovely set of 'folk-like' tunes. I do look up to see how they are categorized but they lie too. At any rate, please listen to this great set of songs.
