Progressive Sundae

There are 4 countries represented on this show: UK, Sweden, Germany and Italy. Some of this show represents the period of time from 1969 to 1972. There was a major shift where the psychedelia from the late-60s switched to a more progressive focus in the early 70s. That type of music was labeled 'Proto-Prog". I think of this era as the emergence of the FM radio extended play format in the US. Patience is a virtue when listening to these tunes. It may take time to realize the great tunes featured here.
